Nanjing Xiaguan Waterfront Business District is located at the intersection of the Zhongshan Corridor and the important historical and cultural area of the Yangtze River. With the development of the city, this area is turning into a new region of vitality, a model for world-class sustainable urban development and revitalization, and an iconic gateway to a waterfront city. The project is divided into three phases. The southern plot is divided into east and west parts by internal roads. The first phase is the west part of the southern plot, which includes apartments and retail; the second stage is the development for residential and supporting retail in the northern plot. The third phase is the eastern part of the southern plot, which includes retail and office.

Three residential towers are carefully arranged in the northern plot, forming concentrated green space within the site for residents. The southern tower is 100 meters high, while the two northern towers are 150 meters high. Careful arrangement optimizes the orientation of the apartment units, and making the best the use of the surrounding river view and mountain scenery.

The southern plot is a comprehensive commercial plot, including retail, apartment and office. Inside the site, a north-south internal road is introduced to divide the plot into east and west parts. The main traffic for retail and office uses the internal road; the main pick-up and drop-off area is located in the middle of the internal road. Pedestrian and vehicular traffic are separated, and allow the retail part remains vehicular-free. On the first floor, according to the main flow of people, the northwest corner and southeast corner of the space are opened to form the main retail entry. A corridor on the second floor is connected to the riverside on the west side of the site; The courtyard space enclosed by the commercial volume can provide places for small exhibitions or commercial activities.

The retail complex of the apartment area on the southern plot has three floors. Above the podium, two 100m slab-form apartment towers are arranged in the north and south. The distance between the buildings are maximized, and through careful angle control, the living quality is achieved without blocking each other. The eastern office area has two office towers are arranged above the podium: one of the office buildings occupies the northeast corner. Another office building has a total of 35 floors, which are arranged in the southeast corner of the plot, closest to the subway station, to create a landmark modern 5A-level high-end office building and establish the image of a high-end office building for the project.
