Situated along the National Highway 107 in Baoan district of Shenzhen, and taking the advantage of its immediate proximity to the Shenzhen international airport, Yun Xiao Gong Guan is intended to be the first architectural icon to greet all travelers going from the airport to the CBD. Limited by the air traffic control on building height, the building’s iconicity is achieved not by its height, but rather by a daring horizontal volume composed of deluxe duplex units, topping on two vertical towers, forming a highly recognizable “doorway” form of structure. This also provides all residents on these units and other key facilities an unobstructed panorama of the airport. Other amenities including a clubhouse, swimming pool and retails are located at the green podium for the enjoyment of the residents.
